The Linder Academy is an evidence-based K–12 private school where gifted learners and students with learning differences thrive together.

Located in Alexandria, Virginia, we combine the rigor of a college-prep curriculum with the empathy and flexibility students need to succeed.

We serve bright, creative, and complex learners—including those with ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, and twice-exceptional profiles (2e)—through a radically personalized approach to education.

Our students are placed by skill level, not grade, and progress through mastery, not on an arbitrary calendar.

Our lower school (K–6) offers multisensory instruction, foundational executive functioning training, and daily routines that build independence and confidence. Our new middle and upper school (grades 7–12) provides flexible academic pathways, integrated SEL and EF training, and real-world preparation in a close-knit, nurturing environment.

No child is “too advanced” or “too behind” here. Every learner finds their path.

What Makes Us Different:
* Individual pacing and placement by skill level—not age
* Evidence-based programs like Orton-Gillingham and structured literacy
* Daily executive functioning and SEL integration
* Small classes (5–12 students) and a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio
* A personalized learning plan for every student
* True support for gifted, 2e, and neurodiverse learners—under one roof

👩‍🏫 65% of faculty hold graduate degrees
👨‍🏫 40% have 15+ years of teaching experience
