TheLocalProject is a crowdsourcing Initiative with the mission to “Build a Better Internet at the local level".

We are Connecting Local People with Local Business "Mobily" through our CONNECTLocal mobile platform.

Our CONNECTLocal mobile app organizes business information, news & offers by community. Consumers can search for businesses, text businesses and connect with their favorite businesses.

Connecting with a business is an opt-in action that connects the User's mobile device with that business. Once connected, businesses are able to send VIP alerts & special offers to the subscriber. This process called MyChoice Advertising gives consumers complete control over which businesses they will receive advertising from.

Businesses can enroll into CONNECTLocal for free or upgrade their membership to gain access to mobile functionality. For as little as $30 per month, businesses receive functionality that lets them:

1) Receive Inbound Text Messages
2) Send Customer Service Mobile Alerts
3) Establish a VIP Customer Program
4) Promote themselves & offers in the CONNECTLocal App.

All mobile messages come to their desktop PC and their mobile device when on the road. The system accepts & sends both SMS text and mobile In-App messages. Businesses can manage their VIP Subscriber list and create sub-Groups based on specific interests or purchase types.

This mobile communication outperforms email & social media by 500%+ in terms of "reach, read rate, and response taken". There is NO more effective way to get your message in front of the people who identify with your business; your existing loyal VIP Customers.

CONNECTLocal's technology continues to expand with new features added every 30 to 90 days.

TheLocalProject is a national effort with a need for local people in each area who want to participate in adding content for their area. If you would like to add your business or join the team; visit us at www.localproject.net.
