The Machine Gun Nest is Frederick, Maryland's premier indoor shooting range. The combination of customer service, instructional crew, rental inventory, and staff create an atmosphere of excellence. The bullet trap can handle up to .50 BMG, welcoming pistol and rifle fire. For those looking for a more unique experience, rentals of fully automatic firearms with a full briefing on safety and history are available. Our staff members, all NRA certified Range Safety Officers, are here to answer any questions you have and guide you to what you need to have the greatest experience.
