Tom Collom

Tom Collom, AIA, NCIDQ, is an accomplished architect and designer with extensive experience in the design and branding sectors. Currently serving as Capstone Coordinator at the Academy of Art University since August 2017, Tom oversees graduate and undergraduate design studios. As Co-Owner, Designer, and Developer of The Market on Market since October 2014, Tom has contributed to innovative food experience concepts. Tom co-founded Bruce and Tom Design Partners in October 1993, providing workplace and store branding services globally. Previous ventures include co-founding Small Foods and Powerwall Energy, and serving as Senior Designer at Esprit, where Tom focused on corporate workplace and retail environments. Tom's design career began at DE TIENNE ASSOCIATES, specializing in hospitality and modular furniture systems. Tom holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 1982 and 1986.
