‘THE ONE WHO PLANTS TREES, KNOWING THAT HE WILL NEVER SIT IN THEIR SHADE, HAS AT LEAST STARTED TO UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF LIFE.’ - RABINDRANATH TAGORE

The Melbourne Arboretum will be a place to celebrate and experience the richness of our land and its plant life – in a range of immersive ways. A vast and diverse forest of eucalyptus trees will be at the centre of this atmospheric space, with many branching areas of research opportunity, historical displays, educational journeys and tourist experiences. A place of community - where one can connect with others and the natural landscape.

A holistic destination that will delight local visitors and international friends, across all generations. The Melbourne Arboretum will be immersive, educational and transformative.

Come on this journey with us. We invite all expressions of interest to reach out at this developmental stage.
