Edward Dabrowski

Medical Director, Michigan at The MENTOR Network

Dr. Edward Dabrowski is the Pediatric Medical Director for NeuroRestorative Michigan. He maintains a private practice with the Michigan Institute of Neurologic Disorders (MND) and is the Chief of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) for the Beaumont Health Legacy System. Dr. Dabrowski is an Associate Professor of PM&R and Pediatrics at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He is also the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic Medical Director and volunteer Medical Director at the Variety Myoelectric Center, which provides free high-tech electronic arms and hands for children with upper limb deficiencies. Dr. Dabrowski continues a long-term commitment to patients with traumatic brain injuries, including comprehensive care for individuals of all ages and complexity.

Dr. Dabrowski is an active participant in academics and research, which includes serving as the current co-chair of the Pediatric SIG of the World Federation of Rehab and past Chair of the Research Committee of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Developmental Medicine. He has written numerous abstracts, posters, and manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, as well as co-authored book chapters. In addition, he has delivered numerous lectures/presentations to professional organizations and countries.

Dr. Dabrowski graduated from the University of Michigan and completed his studies and PM&R residency at Wayne State University Medical School.
