Inspired by the timelessness and versatility of Mid Century Modern design.

Founded in 2010, The Modern is a family-run furniture brand dedicated to creating warm, beautiful spaces through timeless design, enduring craftsmanship, and a deep respect for simplicity and function.

Our collection is grounded in accessibility, clean lines, honest materials, and the refined forms of Mid Century Modern design. From solid timber and genuine leather to versatile, enduring essentials, we’re committed to crafting furniture that’s lived with and loved for generations.

With eight showrooms across Australia, our team is here to help you create a home that supports the rhythm of your days - the quiet moments, the family traditions, and everything in-between.
