Nicole Wright has a diverse range of experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Nicole began their career as a Board Director and Head of Direct Marketing at Ammirati Puris Lintas in 1994, and later worked as a Group Account Director at EuroRSCG Partnership. In 2000, they served as the Group Communications Director at George Patterson Bates. From 2001 to 2005, Nicole worked as a Direct Marketing Strategist at 360 Partnership. Nicole then joined American Express as an Advertising Agency Change Manager, where they were responsible for addressing barriers to business excellence and improving the relationship with the advertising agency Ogilvy. Nicole also worked as a Program Director at Navigare, where they focused on client-agency engagement management and optimizing business relationships. Since 2015, they have held roles at both The Monkeys and as a freelance marketing strategist.

Nicole Wright obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Marketing from UNSW in 1988. Nicole completed their high school education at Ascham from 1980 to 1985. In 1990, Nicole obtained a Diploma in Direct Marketing from Imperial College London. Nicole later pursued further education in the field of International Marketing Strategy at INSEAD starting in 1997.
