Mark Cant has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and testing. Mark started their career as a QA Tester at SEGA Europe Limited in 2005 and gradually progressed to become a QA Team Lead, overseeing a team of testers and mentoring new hires. In 2010, they worked as a Digital TV Application Tester at Virgin Media. From 2011 to 2017, Mark was employed at Big Radical, initially as a QA Lead and later as a Senior QA Lead. In this role, they established QA processes, integrated QA with the wider business, and built a QA team from scratch. At Memrise, they joined as a QA Analyst in 2017 and was responsible for ensuring quality on iOS, Android, and Web apps while improving QA processes. At Improbable, Mark served as a Quality Games Engineer, specializing in ensuring the quality of games and game development tools. Mark worked their way up to become a Senior Quality Games Engineer before joining The Multiplayer Group (MPG) in 2023 as a Senior QA Engineer.
Mark Cant attended Walworth Secondary School from 1995 to 2000, where they earned their GCSEs. Following this, they attended Southwark College from 2000 to 2001, obtaining a GNVQ in Computing. Mark continued their education at Southwark College from 2001 to 2003, during which they completed a BTEC National Diploma in Computing.
