John Stack is an experienced digital strategist with two decades of leadership in the culture and heritage sector. They served as the Head of Online and Head of Digital at Tate from 2007 to 2013 and held the position of Digital Director at the Science Museum Group from 2015 to 2024. Currently, John is the Director of Digital Innovation and Technology at The National Gallery and a Board Member at the Museum Data Service, while also contributing as a Trustee for Art UK since 2023. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Essex in 1994.
