Welcome to The Nature Connection Project

Tell us your nature connection story! We’d love to know how, where and why you connect with nature. Is it looking out the window, gardening, walking, fishing, being with your pet…? This website is a home for stories about what nature means to people like you.

Send us a picture, write a short story, a poem, make a video or audio recording on your phone. Your creative responses will be lovingly cared for while researchers gain insights into how nature connection impacts Australia’s health, wellbeing and environmental future.
