Anna Simmonds

Anna Simmonds is a seasoned expert in gift planning with over 20 years of experience at The Nature Conservancy, where Anna currently serves as Director of Bequests & Annuities. In this role, Anna manages a team of six Gift Planning Officers, overseeing significant fundraising efforts resulting in millions of dollars in revenue from gift annuities, bequests, and outright gifts. Anna has successfully established and restructured team goals, developed programs for TNC Australia, and led initiatives for database conversion and recruitment processes. Previously, Anna has held roles from Gift Planning Officer to Deputy Director, contributing to substantial increases in bequest commitments and managing multimillion-dollar budgets. As a Board Member of the National Capital Gift Planning Association from 2011 to 2014, Anna further demonstrated leadership in the field. Anna holds a degree from the University of Florida.
