Ryan Haugo

Ryan Haugo is the Director of Conservation & Science at The Nature Conservancy, leading initiatives focused on equitable conservation outcomes. They previously served as the Director of Conservation Science for TNC, where they set strategic direction for scientific programs. Haugo holds a PhD and MS in Plant Ecology from the University of Washington and a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a Plant Ecologist, contributing to ecological assessments and landscape-scale research projects.
