Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is the founder of Common Concepts LLC, an interdisciplinary design studio based in New York City that specializes in residential and commercial design and environmental installations. With extensive experience in architecture and design, Jonathan has held various roles, including adjunct instructor at Parsons School of Design, where a range of interior design courses are taught. Previous positions include creative director at Olivier Cheng Catering and Events, architectural designer at Fradkin McAlpin Architects, and intermediate architect at Lalire March Architects, among others. Jonathan holds a BARCH and BFA in Architecture and Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and has also studied at the Edinburgh College of Art.
