The Onyx Clinic is a boutique private practice in Barrie, ON, founded in 2021 to provide evidence-based speech-language pathology services. We specialize in supporting individuals with complex communication and swallowing needs, particularly those impacted by medical, surgical, or structural conditions.

• Head & neck cancer rehabilitation (speech, swallowing, trismus, xerostomia support)
• Voice disorder rehabilitation
• Post-maxillofacial surgery rehabilitation (speech and swallowing re-training after jaw surgery)
• TMJ-related speech/swallow issues (jaw mobility, tension management)
• Myofunctional therapy (tongue thrust and swallowing pattern correction)
• Dysphagia management for medical and structural causes

Our team includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs), and, in 2025, a Registered Dietitian. Together, we take a collaborative, patient-centered approach that helps individuals restore function and quality of life.
