At first glance, The Outpost might seem solely about providing food for people experiencing homelessness. But when we take a closer look, the impact for the broader Geelong community is so much more. The Outpost isn’t just a meal service; it’s a lifeline that reaches far beyond the plate.

•	We empower a diverse range of individuals by providing the resources, knowledge, and support they need to access nutritious meals and essential necessities.
•	We offer a welcoming and safe environment where guests can find community and connection, especially when facing uncertain days and nights ahead.
•	We create a space where vulnerability meets empowerment, ensuring everyone feels supported, heard, seen, valued and safe.
•	We foster a community that says, “You’ve got this, and together, we’ve got you.”

The Outpost abides by a “no questions asked” policy and serves food to a diverse range of local people including young families and children. Some people are sleeping in cars and doorways; others aren’t homeless but are doing it tough.
