The Peace Department fosters peace by empowering local communities through coordinated solutions that promote holistic planetary, social, and economic prosperity.

We envision a world where the most pressing crises of our time, like climate change, migration, and armed conflict, are mitigated through an open design process that connects local communities with key stakeholders to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals in groundbreaking ways.

The Peace Department operates through its 4C approach:
*Connect – We build constellations of support to problem-solve, build capacity, and connect local communities with vital resources
*Convene – We convene community leaders, experts, philanthropists, and investors to learn from each other and work collaboratively
*Coordinate – We coordinate coalitions and open design processes to co-create projects that strategically advance environmental, social, and economic wellbeing for communities impacted by crisis
*Catalyze – We catalyze collaboration on innovative projects anchored in local communities through seed investment and advocacy
