Chris Sowder

Chris Sowder is a strategic financial executive and advisor with extensive experience in seed and early-stage companies. They began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, where they developed foundational expertise as a CPA. Chris held key financial roles at organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, The Siegfried Group, and Transwestern, where they oversaw critical growth phases and financial integrations. Currently, Chris serves as the Director of Finance at the PenFed Foundation and provides advisory services to startups, focusing on financial modeling and fundraising. They hold a BS in Accounting from George Mason University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
