John Blaney is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in healthcare operations and payment integrity. They began their career as the President and Founder of Advanced System Applications, Inc. from 1977 to 1989, followed by leading Primax Recoveries, Inc. as President from 1995 to 2008. After serving as President of Strategy & Transformation at Equian from 2015 to 2020, John transitioned to Optum as the Director of Payment Integrity until 2022. They have also worked as an investor and consultant in 2022, and are currently the Executive Vice President of Transformation and Recovery Services at The Phia Group, LLC.
