Matt Buchanan

Matt Buchanan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Controller at The Phoenix since June 2021, Matt has previously held the position of Director of Finance at TDA_Boulder from September 2008 to November 2020, where oversight included finance, accounting, strategic planning, and human resources. Matt's career began at Motorola Solutions, where responsibilities as a Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst included conducting cost and margin analysis for high-value projects. Matt also managed the General Ledger close process for Americas Financial Shared Services and led a significant reporting system conversion. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, International Business, and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington.
