John Kemp is a seasoned professional in the golf industry with extensive experience in project management, consulting, and development roles. Currently serving as Project Manager for Golf Course 2030 at The R&A since March 2022, John has previously held positions such as Golf Club Consultant at Contemporary Club Leadership and Manager of OnCourse® Engagement at GEO Foundation for Sustainability In and Through Golf. Additional experience includes roles as National Development Manager at Bowls Scotland, Education & Resources Officer and Club Development Officer at Scottish Golf, and various internships related to golf course design and construction. John holds multiple degrees, including a Diploma in Club Management from the Club Managers Association of Europe, a Professional Diploma in Golf Course Architecture from the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, and a Bachelor of Arts in Golf Management from UHI.
