John Murray

John Murray has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John started their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1992 and worked there until 1995. John then moved on to Coopers & Lybrand, where they served as a Corporate Tax Manager from 1995 to 1998. Following that, they worked as a Finance Executive at Macquarie Group from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, they joined GE Capital as a Financial Services Consultant for a brief period of time. From 2000 to 2012, they held a prominent role as the Vice President - Finance - Golf at IMG Media. Most recently, they served as the Executive Director - Finance at The R&A starting in 2012.

John Murray completed their secondary education at Banchory Academy from 1982 to 1988. John then pursued higher education at The University of Edinburgh, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 1992.
