Michael White

Michael White is an experienced Treasury Manager with a strong background in cash management, liquidity strategies, and financial operations. Currently serving at The R&A since October 2022, responsibilities include FX hedging, bank account administration, and project financing for significant development initiatives. Previously, Michael held the position of Treasury Manager at INEOS Grangemouth, managing extensive cash pools and optimizing global bank accounts. Earlier roles include Cash & Banking Manager at Edinburgh Napier University, where Michael implemented an E-payment process, and Loans & Leasing Manager at Sunderland City Council, overseeing local authority debt management. Michael holds a Certificate in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and an AAT from Monkwearmouth College, alongside a BA in English Literature from The University of Manchester.
