Oscar-nominated Director/Producer Matia Karrell and her award-winning production team at The Red Door Films are in the final stages of completing an inspirational documentary film about the Women Airforce Service Pilots and their 75-year fight for their legacy. Coming Home: Fight for a Legacy also shines a light on other unsung women heroes, like the African American women who were denied the right to serve in the WASP but served in other branches of the US military. With never-before-seen footage and hundreds of hours of interviews, Matia Karrell brings us a film about our female WWII unsung heroes unlike any other.
