Dr. Terrence Mitchell

Dr. Terrence Mitchell is an accomplished educator and leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Erie County Community College and a member of The Registry, Dr. Mitchell owns Mitchell's Modern: Affordable Vintage and is the Executive Director of the CREED College Readiness Program, overseeing all nonprofit operations. Notable past roles include Chief Diversity Officer at Pennsylvania Western University, where Dr. Mitchell successfully unified three campus diversity offices, and similar positions at Slippery Rock University, Edinboro University, and SUNY Oneonta, where Dr. Mitchell contributed significantly to DEI strategic initiatives and policies. Dr. Mitchell holds a PhD in Administration and Leadership Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education in Community College Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
