The Secret Burden is a non-profit charity with a mission to start the conversation, challenge the stigma and create change in the eating disorder and mental health space. 

Founded in 2020 by a mother and daughter with lived experience, The Secret Burden is the leading charity in the South-East QLD and Northern NSW for eating disorders, having supported over 100 families, facilitated 40+ workshops, hosted 10+ major community events and started over 22,000 conversations internationally on The Secret Sunday Session podcast and online platform. 

The Secret Burden is on a mission to advocate and educate so early-intervention and prevention can be achieved for those directly and indirectly impacted by an eating or mental health disorder.
