The Sharpeners works with established and emerging leaders on the inner work of aligning who they are with how they lead. We call this congruent leadership. It is the single idea at the centre of everything we do.

Our programs work at the leader's way of being. The quality of attention a leader brings to a room. The mood they carry and the conditions it creates for the people around them. The language they use and whether it expands or contracts what their organisation can see as possible.

These are dimensions of how a leader inhabits their role that are examined, practised, and durably shifted through structured, sustained coaching work.

Our clients are VP-level and above executives, C-suite leaders, functional heads, and high-potential leaders in succession pipelines. They come from organisations including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Tata Motors, Siemens, Barclays, Freshworks, and TCS.

They engage with us when their technical capability is no longer the constraint. When 360-degree feedback points to gaps in stakeholder trust, executive presence, or communication clarity. When their performance is strong but their impact on team engagement and cross-functional collaboration is not.

The Sharpeners offers executive coaching, immersive workshops, masterclasses, and consulting engagements. Our flagship programme, EPIC — Executive Presence, Influence, and Communication Coaching — is a 6-month individual engagement designed for leaders whose way of showing up has a material effect on the people around them and on the outcomes their organisation is working towards.

Founded in 2021 by Saurabh Gupta (ICF-PCC), with 20+ years across global corporate communications and leadership advisory roles at Novartis, HSBC, and other multinational organisations.
