Eva Sloan

Eva Sloan has a diverse work experience as a graphic designer. Eva started their career as a freelance graphic designer after graduating in 2019. Eva has gained experience by working with various clients, helping them achieve their creative vision and meeting project deadlines.

In 2020, Eva worked as a graphic designer at FoodX Technologies, where they contributed their design skills until February 2022. Eva also worked as a graphic designer at BC NDP during the snap election of 2020. In this role, they were responsible for designing social media images, printed collateral, personal ads for candidates, and other branded items for the campaign.

Additionally, Eva worked at Digital Insomnia Design Studio from January 2020 to October 2020, where they performed various design tasks such as photo editing, asset curation, logo design, layout design, and brand identity. Eva ensured that the deliverables were ready for all online platforms and prioritized user experience.

Most recently, Eva joined The Shift Network in November 2021 as a Graphic Designer.

Eva Sloan has a diverse education history, primarily focused on the creative arts. Eva started their education journey at the University of Victoria in 2011 and completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Arts in 2015. Following this, they attended Robert Gordon University from 2014 to 2015, where they pursued an additional Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Painting Honours.

In 2018, Eva enrolled in the Communication Design Essentials program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Eva completed this program in 2019, obtaining a degree in Graphic Design.

In addition to their formal education, Eva has also pursued further certifications. In December 2019, they obtained their Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from We TEFL | Learn English as a Foreign Language. Furthermore, in March 2020, Eva became a Certified Social Media Specialist through DigitalMarketer.
