The SP16 Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity focused on empowering individuals affected by Type 1 Diabetes, while supporting the efforts to put an end to the disease for good.

Inspired by the life and accomplishments of Sean M. Peters (1994-2017), and together with our leading partner organizations, we bring attention and resources to the fight against T1D. We build lifelong bonds between those who share this unique challenge. We promote education and good health among those affected, showing them that they dictate their relationship with Type 1 Diabetes, and not the other way around.
