Lee Wallender

Lee Wallender has been remodeling homes since 2000 and has been writing for The Spruce since its inception in 2017. Prior to the debut of The Spruce, Lee provided home improvement advice for About.com readers and do-it-yourselfers for more than twelve years. Lee has been cited in numerous publications including People, Toolmonger, Chicago Tribune, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Huffington Post, and The Day. His articles have appeared on ABC News, New Orleans Advocate, Cape Cod, The Good Men Project, Sweeten, and Fix.com.

Lee earned a B.A. in English language and literature from California Lutheran University and a Masters in creative writing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
