Carlo Rojas has extensive experience in network engineering and technical operations in the broadcast television industry. Carlo worked at The Switch from September 2013 to the present, where they managed optical mesh network equipment and transitioned traditional broadcast operations to IP WAN contribution and production. Carlo also supervised the Network Operations Center and handled system and network administration.
Prior to that, Carlo worked at Visible World from October 2008 to January 2012, where they provided technical support and account management for the company's broadcast and advertising platforms. Carlo conducted training sessions and executed national and local campaigns across multiple networks.
Carlo also has experience at NBCUniversal, Inc., where they served as a Technical Operator from September 2007 to October 2008. Carlo was responsible for quality control and broadcast management for various TV systems, including NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and more. Carlo played a role in implementing HD infrastructure upgrades and supporting the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Before their career in broadcasting, Carlo worked as a Technician at Pratt Institute from January 2005 to January 2007. Carlo also served as a Digital Video Editing Counselor at Internal Drive Tech Camp - Princeton University from April 2006 to August 2006.
Carlo's early experiences include an internship as a Graphics Intern at The Jane Pauley Show (NBC) from January 2004 to January 2005 and a Media and Production Internship at Bionic Media from January 2005 to September 2005, where they handled media management responsibilities including data entry and media transfer.
Carlo Rojas completed their education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from Pratt Institute from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Morris Catholic High School between 1998 and 2002. No field of study was specified for their high school diploma.
