David Stern is an accomplished broadcast engineer and production technical director with extensive experience in live sports and television production. Currently, David serves as a Production Technical Director and Broadcast Engineer at The Switch/Tata Communications since October 2017 and holds the position of Technical Director for the Ultimate Fighting Championship since June 2013, overseeing live shows for ESPN and its affiliates. Additionally, David owns and operates Dave Stern Photography since 2000. Previous roles include serving as Director and Technical Director for UFC Now/Ahora, and working as an Engineer at KCET, where responsibilities encompassed technical direction and operation of various video equipment. Earlier experience includes positions at Fox Sports Net and TVG Network. David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Commerce from the University of Phoenix between 2001 and 2003.
