Jeff Hurst has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and production. Jeff started their career in 1979 at KTXA, where they worked as an entry-level engineer and production staff for a television station. Jeff then joined Bonneville Satellite in 1984, working as an engineer responsible for camera, audio, and lighting tasks, as well as running the terrestrial microwave truck for remote feeds in Los Angeles. In 1989, they moved on to PSSI Global Services as an Uplink Truck Engineer, before joining NBC News in 1994 as a co-manager of a transportable satellite uplink and production truck for CNBC. Their responsibilities at NBC included all aspects of remote production and engineering for the America's Talking network. Jeff returned to PSSI Global Services in 1996 as an Uplink Truck Engineer until 2002. Jeff then founded their own company, Hurst USA, Inc., in 2005 and served as the President until February 2017, focusing on providing exceptional services and growing the company. Lastly, Jeff joined The Switch in February 2017 as a Field Engineer, and their current role duration is not specified.
Jeff Hurst attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1979 to 1980, where they studied Radio/TV. Jeff then enrolled at ITT Technical Institute-Arlington in 1981 and completed their studies in Electronics Engineering in 1982.
