Raul Velez

Raul Velez has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Raul began their career in 2004 as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor at World Television KNLA 27 Los Angeles, where they worked until 2011. In 2008, they also started working as a Video Editor and Graphics Designer at Arenas Entertainment, a role they held until 2016.

In 2008, Raul began working at Estrella Media, Inc. as a Producer Editor, Social Media Content Creator, and Graphics Designer. Raul collaborated with producers and designers to create engaging short format content for Estrella TV media network, and also edited short format solutions for social media platforms.

Raul also worked at UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza) from 2008 to 2020 as a Graphic Designer and Editor. In this role, they designed and animated backgrounds for presenters at UnidosUS National Conferences and compiled raw footage, images, and interviews to produce videos shown at the conference. Raul was also an online editor for Alma Awards Preshow and Online Stream.

From 2012 to 2019, Raul worked as a Video Editor for Fox Sports, MundoFox, and Mun2 Television Network (now NBC Universo). In 2013, they joined NBCUniversal Hispanic Group as a Video Editor and worked there until 2020.

Most recently, in 2016, Raul joined The Switch as a Video Editor and Cloud Video Production Operator, using platforms like Tellyo.com and Riverside.fm for live streaming, recording, and editing segments.

Additionally, in 2009, Raul had a brief experience as a Freelance Video Editor at Aagile Multimedia.
