The Teachers Table is a technology platform that bridges the gap between research, practice, and community to give educators continual access to the most effective, research-backed literacy strategies and up-to-date information. The problem is more than 60% of fourth graders in the US are not reading proficiently or at grade level. This problem is compounded by the fact that many teachers have not been trained in evidence-based methods for teaching reading and have turned to social media for ideas and support which is not always reliable. We solve this problem by verifying engaging posts through our expert research panel and providing a community space connected to research-based sources—transforming informal learning into trusted, evidence-based professional development that supports real classroom impact.
