Ali Hamie

Ali Hamie currently serves as the Minister of Public Works & Transport for the Council of Ministers of Lebanon and holds a professor position at Lebanese University, where Ali lectures on antenna design, propagation, and optical communications. Additionally, Ali is a core team member of The Things Network, focusing on LoRaWAN deployment for IoT applications, and has expertise in telecommunications as a member of the Lebanese Parliamentary Information & Telecom Committee. Ali also contributes to national cybersecurity efforts and counter-terrorism projects, while serving on the academic council at CASS European Institute of Management Studies. Ali is a senior member of IEEE, an external quality auditor for Gulf College, and actively involved in promoting student entrepreneurship through AUF initiatives. Ali's academic background includes multiple degrees in telecommunications and electronics from renowned educational institutions in France and Lebanon.
