Dan O'Connell is an experienced real estate professional with a strong background in analysis and underwriting. Currently serving as Associate Partner and Vice President at The Townsend Group since January 2014, Dan focuses on core real estate investment strategies, particularly with open-end commingled funds within the NCREIF Fund Index - Open-End Diversified Core Equity. Prior experience includes roles as an Acquisitions Analyst at Red Stone Equity Partners, LLC, where Dan contributed to the acquisition and syndication of over $60 million in low-income housing tax credit investments, and as a Registered Representative at ING, obtaining a FINRA Series 6 License. Dan's earlier positions span multifamily leasing and property management, commercial real estate investment banking, and international asset management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree from Miami University and post-baccalaureate studies at Cleveland State University.
