The Travers Foundation - Helping young people achieve their potential

The Travers Foundation is a volunteer-run Charity that provides financial support to local 13 to 30-year-olds to help them realise their dreams in sports, music and the arts. We help by nurturing the talent of local teams, groups and individuals in Rutland, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire.

We provide Funding Support to cover the following costs;

Coaching Support - We will provide funding for the direct cost of coaching and professional support for groups or individuals. Coaching support does not include travel or accommodation expenses.

Competition Support - We will provide funding for competition costs, including travel expenses, accommodation expenses and competition entry fees for sporting teams or individuals.

Musician Support – our Travers Rising Star is a unique programme of support for a musician combining Vocal Coaching, Musician Coaching, TraversTV live recording, Studio Recording, Artist Development and Live Performances. 

Performance Support - We will provide funding for cast costs during Auditions and Rehearsals for a production, including Actors and Dancers. 

Production Support - We will provide funding for pre-production costs for groups planning a production or event which is led by a figurehead or Producer who meets our Residence criteria. This would include Audition and Rehearsal costs plus  Cast and Crew costs.
