Heather Pollinger

ABA Therapist at The Uncommon Thread

Heather Pollinger has extensive experience in the field of education and therapy, currently serving as an ABA Therapist at The Uncommon Thread since August 2020. Additionally, Heather has been a Special Education ABA Teacher's Aide at Summit Public Schools since September 2015 and previously worked as a Substitute Teacher at the same institution from November 2014 to June 2015. Heather holds a Master of Social Work degree from New York University, earned between 1998 and 2001, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Child Psychology from the University of Maryland. Heather is also an alumnus of Jericho High School.

The Uncommon Thread (TUT) is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the lives of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). TUT provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and services in-center, in-home, in-public schools, in-private schools and in the community.
