The Underbite is a pet industry publication for the people running the business, not just reading about it.

The pet economy is one of the largest consumer categories in the world, but most of the coverage is written for consumers. Best dog food lists. Product roundups. That's fine, it's just not what founders, investors, and operators need when they're making real decisions.

We cover the other side. Where capital is moving. What's changing in supply chains and regulations. Which brand strategies are actually working and which ones just look good on a pitch deck.

We publish analysis, news, and interviews with the people shaping this industry. Everything is independent and editorial. No trade association backing. We just cover the beat.

If you're building, investing, or operating in the pet industry, follow along. The newsletter is free.
