An Innovation Hub that fosters community, commerce, creativity & culture for people of African descent and their allies in downtown Seattle. The Union is an initiative of PACE, a Washinton State 501c3 nonprofit founded by technology innovators in 2015. PACE uses science, technology, entrepreneurship, arts and media (STEAM) programming to power underserved communities to greatness.

Founded on Juneteenth in 2018, The Union serves as the home base for PACE initiatives. It operates as a member-driven co-working space in addition to a training and education facility. Equipped with a state of the art recording studio, The Union is equipped to power the next generation of content creators as well as create a digital library of educational content from our programming.

In addition to the services we offer our members, we curate a calendar of weekly, monthly, and quarterly events many of which are open to the general public. These events include marketplaces, workshops, talks, film screenings and art walks in addition to our social hours and community open houses.
