The Unsigned Guide is a music industry contacts directory & career guide produced specifically for emerging bands, artists, music managers, and the UK music industry. First published in 2003 as a printed directory, The Unsigned Guide is now an online only directory full of music contact listings covering all aspects of the business from record labels, music publishers, PR companies, recording studios, managers to radio stations, venues, gig promoters, festivals and music distribution.

As well as our music industry directory, one of our most popular features is our monthly Spotlight blog where we champion 5 stand-out tracks submitted by Unsigned Guide band & musician members. We’ve been among the first to tip some fine artists & bands via our Spotlight blog who have gone onto greater things. Acts championed by us early on have since been written about by the likes of NME, Q Magazine, The Guardian, received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio, Radio X, plus have secured managers, PR companies & pluggers, music publishers and record labels.
