The Vahishta Foundation is a community focused, charitable,  mental-health organisation committed to improving emotional wellbeing, strengthening resilience, and bringing hope to individuals across underserved and vulnerable settings.

Our work spans therapeutic care, capacity building, awareness, and crisis response. We conduct suicide-prevention and mental-health awareness workshops, seminars, and group discussions, while offering structured training programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, as well as to psychiatry students completing their psychiatric diplomas and medical residencies. Through these initiatives, we train the next generation of practitioners in ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded care.
In collaboration with NGOs and institutions aligned with similar goals, we provide counselling, psychotherapy, recreational therapy, and psychosocial support to individuals navigating emotional distress, trauma, abandonment, or life transitions. 

Our mission is to help people rediscover their strengths, rebuild their sense of worth, and step back into life with confidence and independence.
