The Varanda Network is a private-sector economic development consulting agency working with you as a "One-Stop-Shop" for your end-to-end growth solutions.

Our clients include leaders in government, academia, and industry. Often clients operate in one country and plan business growth, investment, or trade in one or more countries.

Being “easy to do business with” is one of the qualities clients reference, along with our uncanny ability to match just the right people to create economic opportunity.

A Canadian example involves a 3-way partnership using the Triple Helix Model of Innovation to exponentially fast-track economic development in the Advanced Manufacturing sector, engaging Government Agencies, Industry, and Academia. As a result, each benefitted because of the other, emulating the African philosophy, Ubuntu: I am because we are.

This philosophy also guides the launch of a philanthropic initiative to celebrate The Varanda Network’s 10-year anniversary. ONE WORLD promotes a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity through experiences that illustrate these values which show, not tell, how we are interconnected around the world; that we are “ONE WORLD”.

Leading up to the “ONE WORLD” launch, The Varanda Network hosted Siyabulela Mandela, raised in the House of Mandela under the guidance of the great world leader and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Nelson Mandela. The younger Mr. Mandela participated in a week-long mission uniting international and local cultures, collaborating with leaders in sectors of education, culture and multiculturalism, and business, across three levels of government.

You are invited into this global community - called The Varanda Network; a name chosen to evoke an ingenious Portuguese “varanda” stretching the circumference of the globe where an exceptional team of experts and advisors “meet” to help you achieve your goals in Investment, Trade, and International Business Expansion.
