The Village Square is dedicated to bridging divides through discussion and spirited disagreement. We believe that it's in American hometowns where neighbors have to engage with each other across the divisions that are roiling our national politics.  We believe that American democracy is, at its heart,  a bottom up operation, and that citizenship — which comes with responsibilities — shouldn't be dull. We help other individuals and groups seeking to bridge divisions accelerate their impact.
