John Abe

John Abe is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Chief AI Data Scientist at The Virtus Solution since January 2025, John previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Solarlytics, where the engineering team was built from the ground up, leading to significant technological advancements in the IoT renewable energy sector. Prior to Solarlytics, John was the CEO of RightMagic, Inc., a machine learning consulting firm, and the founder/CEO of Tradec Inc., which specialized in supply management and analytics, developing a flagship Material Cost Management System and successfully securing venture capital financing. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
