About The W Group

The W Group helps Canadian municipalities build durable public trust through representative resident insight.

We design and operate statistically reliable community panels, resident surveys, and communication systems that allow local governments to understand public priorities, measure community sentiment, and make better-informed decisions.

Many municipal trust challenges are not caused by a single decision or engagement event. They emerge gradually when residents lack awareness of how decisions unfold, when engagement becomes episodic, or when feedback is dominated by a small but highly vocal segment of the population.

Our work helps municipalities move beyond episodic engagement by building long-term resident insight systems that provide representative feedback from across the community. These systems support stronger communication, more informed decision-making, and greater public confidence in local government.
