The Wallace Foundation is an independent national philanthropy dedicated to fostering equity and improvements in learning and enrichment for young people, and in the arts for everyone. We seek to create both direct benefits for our grantee partners in the form of improved capacity and services, along with indirect benefits for the fields we work in by developing and sharing credible, useful knowledge. Our current main areas of focus include:  education leadership, building arts audiences, summer learning, social and emotional learning, arts learning and after-school system-building. The Program Management team at The Wallace Foundation oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that align with the foundation’s mission to foster equity and improvements in learning, enrichment, and the arts. This team collaborates with grantee partners to enhance their capacity and services while generating and disseminating valuable knowledge across various focus areas, such as education leadership, arts audiences, summer learning, and social and emotional learning. They ensure that programs are effectively executed and achieve both direct and indirect benefits for the communities and fields The Wallace Foundation serves.

Program Management

The Leadership Team at The Wallace Foundation is responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring the effective execution of initiatives across the organization’s focus areas, which include education leadership, arts engagement, and social and emotional learning. Comprised of senior executives, including the President, Vice President of Arts, Chief Human Resources Officer, Vice President of Research, and Vice President of Communications, this team works collaboratively to drive equitable improvements in learning and enrichment for young people and the arts sector. They also aim to enhance organizational capacity and disseminate knowledge to benefit grantee partners and the broader community.

Leadership Team

The Finance and Accounting team at The Wallace Foundation manages the financial operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and supports strategic planning. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. The Accounting Manager supervises day-to-day accounting activities and ensures compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant handles bookkeeping, prepares financial statements, and assists with audits. Together, they ensure financial integrity and provide insights to support the foundation's mission.
