Greg Jaffe

Greg Jaffe is an experienced journalist currently serving as a reporter for The New York Times since February 2025. Prior to this role, Jaffe was a reporter for The Washington Post beginning in March 2009. Before that, Jaffe worked at The Wall Street Journal from June 1995 to February 2008, where responsibilities included serving in the Atlanta Bureau from 1995 to 2000 and as a Pentagon/military correspondent from 2000 to 2008. Jaffe’s career began at the Montgomery Advertiser, a part of the USA Today Network, where duties included covering police and general assignments from August 1992 to June 1995.
