Libby Casey

Libby Casey is a Senior News Anchor and Producer for The Washington Post, where they anchor live election coverage and breaking news, host the video-forward podcast Sidebar, and manage a team of video journalists. From 2016 to 2022, Libby served as a Video Journalist at The Washington Post and has covered major events, including the Capitol attack on January 6, 2021, contributing to the publication's Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. Prior to their role at The Washington Post, they were a Washington DC Correspondent for Al Jazeera America and have extensive experience in public radio and television journalism, including positions at C-SPAN and the Alaska Public Radio Network. They are currently pursuing their degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
